Women with pelvic congestion syndrome (PCS) have various symptoms including vaginal discharge, urinary frequency and back ache. In 50% – 70% of patients with PCS, there is disturbance of the menstrual cycle and in up to 50% of cases, pain during sexual intercourse.

A minimally invasive radiological procedure performed as a day case has been found to be a beneficial method of treatment of pelvic congestion syndrome (PCS) for some patients.
